When editing manuscripts, I find myself explaining some of the same concepts over and over again to different authors. I'll explain some of those concepts here. This will simplify things for me by allowing me to simply point an author here instead of writing the same advice over and over again. I hope that some of these authors will also share this resource with their writer friends and therefore expand the benefits my advice much further than I ever could do on my own.

Punctuation at the End of Quotes
Sometimes a quote should end with a period and sometimes it should end with a comma. Learn the difference here.

Tagging Quotations Responsibly
You've heard that you shouldn't use "she/he said" every single time, but that doesn't mean you should come up with outlandish and incorrect replacements.
