Pricing

Editing services cost $5.00 plus $1.00 for every 1000 words or portion thereof. That means I would charge $6.00 for either a 500-word flash fiction or one of 950 words. A short story of 3100 words would cost $9.00. I will determine the number of words using a word processing program to count the words in the body of the manuscript and round to the nearest 100 words.

You may think I couldn't make a living charging these rates and you would be very right. I'm not looking to make a living as an editor, though. I'm happy with my current day job. The money I make from editing will go into expanding Wanderings magazine and establishing a pay rate for contributing authors.
