About Wanderings

Wanderings is a quarterly magazine with both a print and online presence. Rather than limiting the magazine to a single niche, we fill each issue with the best work we receive, regardless of genre. The result is a magazine that is sometimes hit and miss for those who have a strong preference for one type of story or another, but which is never forced to compromise on the quality of stories and poetry we offer.

Wanderings has been available online since April of 2005 and in print since June of 2005. The printed magazine has been sold in several different countries and the online version is viewed around the world.

The magazine is edited and produced by Mike Wever, who is a published author himself. After years of struggling to find the right market for each story and waiting for long response times from each market, Mike began to think that there might be a better way to run a magazine, and the idea for Wanderings was born. Wanderings is designed primarily to serve quality stories to readers, but also to provide a more friendly and responsive market for authors.
